Allison interviews Cynthia Bennett from the University of Washington about their Disabilities, Opportunities, Internetworking and Technology (DO-IT) program. DO-IT promotes inclusion and success for people with disabilities and is aimed at both educators and students. The program manages several grants, many from the NSF, that support students with disabilities pursuing STEM careers and it publishes literature to help teachers make mainstream curriculum more accessible for students with disabilities. The setting is the International Technology and Persons with Disabilities Conference show floor.
