Allison interviews Jay Lent and Joey Uziel from MWA about one of their products available for purchase now and another in development. The first, described by Jay, is the Cylo Cannonball, a floating waterproof speaker that can be thrown and caught, submerged or placed on a solid surface. It’s equipped with a rubberized shock-absorbing cover and flat surface buttons. The rugged Cannonball is rated IPX7 so it’s built to withstand the elements including water, dirt, sand, snow, and dust. The Cannonball can pair with Bluetooth-enabled devices and it supports wireless calls with a built-in mic and ranges up to 100 ft. The second product, described by Joey, is two wireless charging power banks for mobile phones that use Qi charging, including later iPhone models. The first provides 3,000 mAh of charge and the second provides 6,000 mAh. Both power banks are designed to stick to the back of your mobile phone for charging but can be removed and reapplied as many times as you desire. These devices are in development and should be available in the second quarter of 2019. The setting is the Showstoppers show floor at the Wynn in Las Vegas.
