Allison interviews Bhavya Gohil, CEO at Square Off, about their new smart chessboard. Square Off allows you to play chess against other people who are remotely located using a real chessboard. Each player uses a Square Off chessboard at their location. Using the Square Off app (iOS and Android), when you move your piece, Square Off physically moves that piece to your selected location on your opponent’s chessboard, and vice versa. If you don’t have a real opponent to play, you can challenge Square Off’s AI and select your level of play at one of 20 complexity levels, from beginner to Grand Master. Square Off is constructed from intricately carved chess pieces and a classic wooden chessboard with mechanisms and electronics hidden underneath. The setting is the CES show floor at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas. Learn more at https://squareoffnow.com/
