Allison interviews Ray Hedrick from ViewSonic about their line of monitors compatible with the Mac. He walks through the VX line of displays perfect for home offices, and the VP displays that are intended for serious video and photography editors. He explains how they’re perfect for Mac users because they also support full power delivery with 60 – 90 watts of charging capability (power depends on display chosen) along with USB ports for plugging in a keyboard, mice, and drives.
Ray explained the features of the VX2785 2K at 27″ for $345 for the home office and the VP2785 4K 27″ for the pro user at $919, as well as their 15.6″ Portable 1080p VG1655 display for $185. And finally, scheduled for release in the summer of 2021 is ViewSonic’s 32″ 8K monitor that will support a Thunderbolt connection.
