Hi, this is Allison Sheridan of the NosillaCast Apple Podcast, hosted at Podfeet.com, a technology geek podcast with an EVER so slight Apple bias. Today is Sunday, October 3, 2021, and this is show number 856.
Before I tell you about the most recent episode of Programming By Stealth, I want to take just a moment to celebrate the fact that I’ve produced 700 episodes of Chit Chat Across the Pond. That’s a lot! In some ways, it’s a bit harder than the NosillaCast because it means convincing someone to come on the air with me and coordinating schedules with someone else. Of course, the vast majority of those episodes have been with my dear friend Bart, which is why he’s my dear friend. Ok, enough celebrating…

Tom Mattok on PopSocket for MagSafe (no blog post)
Enough of me for now, let’s hear a great listener review from the returning Tom Mattock.
Thanks, Tom, that was great. I’ve talked to lots of people who swear by PopSockets but it seemed so ungainly to have a dedicated case or to actually have it stuck to the back of my phone. With the MagSafe version, you can have it on when you want to and take it off easily when you don’t. The link Tom sent to Amazon shows that you can get it in tasteful black, Gold Lutz Marble, or Opal that’s kind of psychedelic for $30 US. If you want to get a little bit fancier they even have a MagSafe PopSocket that includes a wallet for $40. They say “in stock soon” so it looks like these are a hot item.
I really appreciate the review, Tom, and the reminder for people to stay subscribed!
Support the Show
This week’s hero of the Podfeet Podcasts is Christian Hölscher, because, if my cipherin’ is correct on the unit conversions from Euros to Dollars and the max monthly pledge options, I think he doubled his support through Patreon. You too can be a hero like Christian and get your name up in lights on the podcast by going to podfeet.com/patreon and pledging an amount that shows your appreciation for the work we do here. Thank you, Christian, you rock.
