I recently published an article telling you all of the wonderful new features of Bartender 5, one of the most useful apps you can get for your Mac. I was so excited about the new features in Bartender 5 that I called dibs on doing the video tutorial for ScreenCastsONLINE subscribers.
In the tutorial, I demonstrate the basics of Bartender that haven’t changed, like moving more uncommonly used items to the secondary menu bar, but then I get into the fun new stuff. I show you how to style your menu bar in creative ways, and how to add triggers to cause your menu bar to change. I teach you how to trigger menu bar changes based on what apps you’re running, your battery status, location, time of day, by which WiFi network you’re on, and even by a script.
This was one of the easiest tutorials to create I’ve ever done because the tool is rock solid and such an important part of my workflow. One of the reasons I love doing these tutorials is because I learn every single little detail of how to use the tool I’m teaching.
