Hi, this is Allison Sheridan of the NosillaCast Apple Podcast, hosted at Podfeet.com, a technology geek podcast with an EVER so slight Apple bias. Today is Sunday, March 16, 2025, and this is show number 1036. This week Steve and I went to CSUN’s accessible tech conference and had an absolute blast. I’m just teasing you though, because we’re not going to tell you what we learned until we’re finally done with CES interviews!

CES 2025: HERE Automotive Navigation Solutions
Let’s start off with an interview I did sitting inside a Lotus Eletre Carbon on the CES show floor. The acoustics are the best you’ll hear from CES and the platform sounds pretty cool.

CES 2025: Zoox Robotaxi Funded by Amazon
When we went to the Zoox booth at CES, the representative from Amazon was quite happy to tell me all about the autonomous robotaxi they’ve created, but he declined to let me interview him. Instead, after his explanation, I did the recording solo. It’s short and sweet, but I’m pretty pleased I was able to hold that much in my head after just one explanation.
CES 2025: j5create Matter-Enabled Smart Plugs and Thunderbolt 5 Dock
Normally my interviews in the j5create booth are a whirlwind of cool products, but this year the focus is on something very specific — the emergence of matter-enabled devices.
Support the Show
This week, the delightful Christoph Trusch made his quarterly donation to support the podcasts. Isn’t that lovely? He likes the idea of continually supporting the work, but doesn’t want to be tied into a subscription so he created a quarterly reminder to shoot some money to me and we’re both happy. He just goes to podfeet.com/paypal and sends the money. Easy Peasy! If you’d like to be delightful like Christoph, but you want it even easier, go to podfeet.com/donate and use Apple Pay or a credit card of your choosing with no login. In any case, it makes me feel warm and fuzzy every time Christoph sends in a donation. Thank you, Christoph!
