Steve interviews Dr. Andrei Dragomir, founder of Aquark Technologies, about their novel and compact quantum devices. Aquark Technologies is a spinout from the University of Southampton that is dramatically reducing the size of a core component of quantum technology. The device can accomplish all of the tasks of a conventional system with a small fraction of the weight, size, and power requirements. Aquark is preparing its enabling technology for the next generation of computing, sensing, and communications applications. The goal is to turn their quantum devices into simple to use, plug-and-play systems, starting by establishing the business as a market leader in the miniaturization of vacuum technology, atom sources, and electronics. The setting is Eureka Park at the Sands Expo Convention Center in Las Vegas.
